Spartak forward Manfred Ugalde submitted the application Costa Rica national team for the next Copa America, reports the press service of the Costa Rican Football Federation.
Besides the 22-year-old red and white striker, the list included 25 other players.
The America’s Cup will take place in the United States from June 20 to July 14. The Costa Ricans will play in Group D with teams from Brazil, Colombia and Paraguay.
Ugalde joined the team “Spartacus” in January, after leaving the Dutch city of Twente. In his first season for the Russian club, he played 16 matches in all tournaments and scored one goal.
