The first incoming transfer of the Cherkassy club this off-season
LNZ announced the signing of his first summer recruit – defender Ilya Putriwho previously advocated Chernomorets.
The contract with the 26-year-old player will come into force on July 1. He will join the Cherkasy club as a free agent.
Putrya is a product of the Shakhtar system, began his professional career in Mariupol, and since September 2020 has been a player for Chernomorets. The main position is right back.
In the 2023/24 season, Ilya played 29 matches for the Sailors (all with the captain’s armband), scored three goals, and gave one assist.
LNZ spent its first season in the elite division of Ukraine. The Cherkassy team ultimately took seventh place. Despite the successful result, there was a change of coach at the club: Oleg Dulub left his position on June 10, and the next day the Spaniard Andres Carrasco became his successor.
