Athletistic/Football. Former Zenit coach Vlastimil Petrzhela addressed the St. Petersburg team. Earlier it became known that the blue-white-blues intend to recruit Zhedson from Besiktas and Luka Jovic from Milan.
“The Zenit management simply continues to step on the same rake. Yes, Zenit became champions six times in a row, but are you sure that this would not have happened if there were fewer foreign players in the team?
“Zenith need to focus on their academy and introduce young people into the team,” Petrzhela told RB Sport.
Last season, Zenit achieved the treble. This summer, the St. Petersburg team will play with Krasnodar in the match for the Russian Super Cup.
