In recent years, Pablo has played in Bulgaria and Croatia
Carpathians officially signed a foreign player – a Spanish midfielder Pablo Alvarez.
The contract with the 27-year-old player will come into force on July 1. Pablo will move from the Bulgarian Cherno More as a free agent.
Alvarez can cover the defensive and central midfielder positions. In his homeland, he played at a far from elite level – in particular, for the third team of Villarreal and the second team of Alaves. In 2021, he moved to Cherno More, the following year he became a player in Croatian Rijeka, and then returned to the club from Varna, with whom he eventually became the vice-champion of Bulgaria.
In the 2023/24 season, Pablo played 30 matches, scored three goals, and gave four assists.
Based on the results of last season, Karpaty moved up in class and will play in the UPL. The team of Miron Markevich was accompanied by Ingulets, who eventually became the champion of the First League 2023/24.
The list of Green-White’s sparring partners before the 2024/25 season is already known. Markevich’s team will begin the July training camp with fights against Minai and Metalist 1925.
