Polesie officially announced the departure of the defender Artem Shabanov. The parties agreed on early termination of cooperation.
Shabanov played for the Zhytomyr club for only one season. He has 26 games in all tournaments.
In Ukraine, Shabanov played for Arsenal, Volyn, Stal, Olympic and Dynamo. The defender won the championship, Cup and Super Cup of Ukraine with the Kiev team, and also became the champion of Poland as part of Legia.
Earlier, goalkeepers Denis Boyko and Artem Pospelov left the Polesie squad. The club also officially announced the termination of cooperation with three more first-team players – defender Nikita Kravchenko, as well as wingers Ivan Petryak and Yassin Fortune.
Polesie started the season under the leadership of Yuri Kalitvintsev, but Sergei Shishchenko led the team to fifth place and qualification for the Conference League. In the 2024/25 championship, the team will be led by Imad Ashur, who previously worked at the head of the youth team of Dnepr-1.
