Eriksen scores, but Denmark suffers a late draw in the Euro

In Eriksen’s return game to the European Championship, Denmark only drew with Slovenia, conceding a goal at the end

In a game valid for the first round of the European Championship, the Denmark was tied with Slovenia this Sunday, 16. The match marked the return of Eriksen to a game in the competition, after suffering a sudden illness in 2021. To top it off, the number 10 scored his team’s goal, but saw Janza equalize in the final minutes.

The first half didn’t have many emotions for both sides, even with Denmark trying to take control of the game, with a lot of ball possession. Meanwhile, the opponents stayed back waiting for a counterattack to bother them, which did not happen during the period.
