The defender will say goodbye to fans on Tuesday at a special press conference
Seville officially announced the departure of the defender Sergio Ramos. The 38-year-old footballer will hold a farewell press conference on Tuesday, June 18.
Ramos is a product of the Nerviones and played for Sevilla until 2005 before moving to Real Madrid. In 2023, the defender returned to his native club.
Sergio made 37 appearances for Sevilla in the 2023/24 season. The defender scored seven goals and gave one assist.
In April, it was reported that a number of clubs from Saudi Arabia, MLS, Japan and Turkey were vying for the player. Inter Miami, for which Ukrainian Sergei Krivtsov plays, showed interest in signing Ramos.
Sevilla finished 14th in La Liga. In the Copa del Rey, Nervion lost to Atlético in the quarter-finals.
