Wolves hope to keep their captain, who has Ukrainian roots
West Ham interested in a defender Wolverhampton by Max Kilman.
New Hammers head coach Julen Lopetegui, who previously worked with him in the 2022/23 season, is interested in signing the 27-year-old player. It is expected that the negotiations will not be simple – Wolves intend to keep their captain.
Let us remind you that in May 2021, on the eve of the European Championship, Kilman received a Ukrainian passport. But the defender was unable to play for the country’s main team due to his performances for the England futsal team.
Last season, Kilman made 44 appearances for Wolverhampton in all competitions. The defender scored two goals and gave one assist.
Wolverhampton finished 14th in the Premier League, West Ham finished ninth. In the first round of the new season, Wolves will play Arsenal, West Ham will host Aston Villa on August 17.
