Ukraine will play its next match on June 21
National team defender Ukraine Vitaly Mykolenko continues to work according to an individual program.
The blue-and-yellows held a recovery training session. Mikolenko, who suffered an injury to his right leg in the first half of the sparring against Moldova in Chisinau (4:0), is not yet working in the general group.
On June 17, the blue-yellows started at the continental forum with a crushing defeat from the Romanian national team – 0:3. The match against Romania was the 12th for Ukraine in the finals of the European Championship.
The blue-and-yellows suffered their ninth defeat, and they invariably lost in each match. Moreover: for the second forum in a row, the Ukrainian team missed three times in the opening match.
In the second round, Ukraine will play on June 21 with Slovakia, which yesterday sensationally beat Belgium (1:0). The meeting in Dusseldorf starts at 16:00.
In the final match of the group stage, Sergei Rebrov’s team will meet Belgium on June 26.
