The Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) filed a complaint with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) due to the nationalist and racist behavior of supporters of the Serbian national team during the European Championship match in football 2024, reports the FFK press service.

FFK contacted UEFA following the results of the EURO 2024 group stage second round match between the Serbs and Slovenes. The meeting took place on Thursday and ended with a score of 1:1.

“The FFK has filed a new complaint with UEFA regarding the repeated nationalist and racist behavior of Serbian fans during the Group C match between Slovenia and Serbia in Munich,” the statement said.

Earlier, General Secretary of the Football Union of Serbia (FSU) Jovan Šurbatović said that the Serbian national team could withdraw from the tournament if the teams of Croatia and Albania are not punished for the insults and threats from their supporters during a tournament match. . Furthermore, the North Macedonian Football Federation said it would send a letter to UEFA demanding to punish the Albanian national team and Rubin Kazan striker Mirlind Daka who insulted Macedonians and Serbs after the match against Croatia.
