Daniil became the sixth player to leave the team this offseason
Veres officially announced his separation from the defender Daniil Khondak. The parties by mutual consent decided to end the relationship and terminate the contract.
The Dynamo graduate joined the Rivne club in January 2023, coming from Gornyak-Sport. In the first round of last season, he took to the field in the UPL only once, and since March he has played on loan for Chernigov (four matches in the First League).
Earlier this offseason, Oleg Shandruk’s team parted ways with midfielder Stanislav Sharai and defenders Vasily Kurko and Denis Balan. Also, striker Mikhail Shestakov and midfielders Andrei Kukharuk and Evgeniy Banada left the club. At the same time, Rivne signed forward Ruslan Stepanyuk and central defender Roman Goncharenko – both had previously played for Veres.
At the end of the 2023/24 championship, Veres took 13th place, after which he retained his registration in the UPL in the play-offs with Epicenter (1:1, 3:1).
Shandruk’s team will return from vacation and begin preparations for the new season on June 25. Veres has seven sparring matches scheduled for the summer training camp.
