The Ukrainian plays in tandem with Elena Ostapenko
Ukrainian Lyudmila Kichenok And Elena Ostapenko from Latvia made it to the quarter finals of the doubles tournament WTA 500 in Eastbourne, UK.
In the first round, Kichenok and Ostapenko confidently defeated the Frenchwoman Eliksane Leshemya and the representative of Belgium Kimberly Zimmermann. The fight lasted almost one hour.
In the first set, Lyudmila and Elena gave away only one game – 6:1. In the second game, the Kichenok/Ostapenko duet also left no chance for their opponents – 6:2.
In the quarter finals, Kichenok and Ostapenko will play with the winners of the match Leila Fernandez / Ena Shibahara (Canada / Japan) – Barbora Krejcikova / Laura Siegemund (Czech Republic / Germany, 2).
