During his year at the Donetsk club, the Ecuadorian played only 41 minutes for the Gornyaki
Central midfielder Shakhtar Denil Castillo officially switched to Danish Midtjylland. The Donetsk club announced this, noting that the parties had agreed on all the details of the transfer.
The transfer amount has not been officially announced. Earlier, information appeared that the Miners could receive about four million euros for the 20-year-old Ecuadorian.
Castillo moved to Shakhtar in April 2023, signing a five-year contract. Last season, Denil played six matches for the Gornyaki (in all cases he came as a substitute, spending a total of 41 minutes on the field), and he spent the second part of the season on loan at Partizan, where in 14 matches he scored two goals and one assist.
This is not the first transfer news from the Miners’ camp today. Earlier, the Donetsk club officially announced the signing of Tunisia national team defender Alaa Gram.
