The Kievans have issued a minimal advantage before the second leg
In the first match of the third qualifying round Champions League Dynamo beat Storm with a score of 1:0. The meeting took place in Lodz, at the City Stadium.
The victory for the people of Kiev was brought by an accurate shot by Alexander Karavaev, who scored in the middle of the first half after the pass of Vladislav Dubinchak.
It is interesting that Karavaev was forced to be in the starting lineup of the white-blues for the game, after Viktor Tsygankov was injured during the warm-up before the match.
The second leg between Sturm and Dynamo will take place on Tuesday, August 9th. The winner of the confrontation will play with the winner of the Benfica-Mitjylland pair in the play-off round of the Champions League qualification.
