The footballer signed a four-year contract
Polesie announced the transfer of the Georgian defender Georgi Maisuradze.
The 22-year-old Georgian youth team player signed a four-year contract. Georgi will perform at the Zhytomyr club at number 31.
Maisuradze is a graduate of Dinamo Tbilisi. Last season, the defender played 17 matches for the club in all competitions, in which he scored one assist.
Earlier, Polesie signed Bosnian striker Admir Bristrich. Goalkeeper Yevhen Volynets, midfielders Ruslan Babenko and Oleksiy Gutsulyak and Brazilian defender Joao Vialle also became new recruits of the Zhytomyr club.
Another newcomer to the team was defender Daniil Beskorovayny, but during the summer training camp the centerback injured his cruciate ligaments.
In the 2024/25 championship, the team will be led by Imad Ashour, who previously worked as the head of the youth team of Dnipro-1. In the first round of the new season, Poliesie will play against Rukh.
In the second round of the Conference League qualification, the Ashur team will compete with the Slovenian Olimpia. Polesie will play home European Cup matches in Gliwice.
