The head coach of the Krivoy Rog club is pleased with the amount of work done
Head coach Krivbassa Yuri Vernidub commented on the results of the first summer training camp for his team, and also shared his impressions of the sparring match against Ingulets (3:1).
“We accomplished everything planned for the first summer camp. The ten-day preparation period was not easy for the guys. There was a lot of running work. We only started working with balls in the last two days, when we were preparing for Ingulets.”
“Are you satisfied with the results of the match with Ingulets? I’m very pleased with how the team played the game. We won, thank God, without injuries. Let’s move on. Tomorrow is the last day of the first training camp. After this, the team will rest for one day, and on July 1 we will go to a training camp in Slovenia, where we have even more work planned and interesting test matches.”
Earlier it became known that Kryvbas will play three test matches at the training camp in Slovenia.
Kryvbas took third place in the last UPL draw, scoring 57 points. The bronze medals of the championship allowed Vernydub’s team to get a ticket to the Europa League qualification.
In the opening round of the 2024/25 UPL, Kryvbas will play against Chornomorets. The base date of the first round is August 3.
