The 25-year-old midfielder’s contract with Chelsea will run until the summer of 2030
Chelsea agreed with Lester about the midfielder’s transfer Kiernan Dewsberry-Hall.
The 25-year-old midfielder has already passed his medical, and the transfer will be officially announced soon. Dewsberry-Hall’s contract with Chelsea will run until the summer of 2030. The transfer amount is 30 million pounds sterling.
This off-season, Chelsea was headed by Enzo Maresca, whose previous job was Leicester. It was previously reported that Maresca was the main initiator of the Dewsberry-Hall transfer and the reunion with his former protégé in the Chelsea camp.
Kiernan Dewsberry-Hall is a Leicester product who has spent his entire career with the club, apart from short spells at Blackpool and Luton.
The 25-year-old midfielder made 44 appearances for Leicester in the Championship last season, scoring 12 goals and providing 14 assists as he helped his hometown club finish top of the table and secure promotion straight to the Premier League.
Chelsea, which includes Ukrainian midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk, will begin the new Premier League season on August 18 with a home match against Manchester City, while Leicester will face Tottenham at home on August 19.
