The tournament in Linyi, China will be held from July 4 to 7
Ukrainian men’s team volleyball announced the roster for Candidates’ Cup 2024.
Raul Lozano’s team will be without four players: Dmytro Yanchuk, Nikolai Rudnitsky, Oleksandr Boyko, as well as captain Yuriy Semenyuk.
- Setters: Sergey Evstratov (Prometheus), Dmitry Dolgopolov (Pafiakos, Cyprus);
- Diagonal: Danil Uryvkin (Epicenter-Podolyany), Viktor Shapoval (Zhytychi-Polesie);
- Finishers: Evgeniy Kisilyuk, Alexander Nalozhny (both Epicenter-Podolyany), Nikita Luban (Zhytychi-Polesie), Timur Tsmokalo (Ostrava, Czech Republic);
- Middle blockers: Alexander Koval, Maksym Drozd (both Epicenter-Podolyany), Nikolai Kuts (Yastrzembski Academy, Poland), Andriy Cheleniak (Bukovina);
- Libero: Yaroslav Pampushko (Barkom-Kazhany), Mykola Dzhul (Bukovina).
The 2024 Candidates’ Cup will be held in Linyi, China, from July 4 to July 7. The Ukrainian team will start the tournament on July 5 against the Chilean team. The game starts at 10:30 Kyiv time.
