Zarya coach notes problems in some positions of the team
Trainer Zari Yuri Koval said that the club plans to strengthen its players in some positions.
“Unfortunately, there are problems in some positions. The players that we have, their readiness now does not allow us to count on them. If there is no skill, then there must be readiness. If there is no readiness, then skill will not help. We will adjust the work, there is still time.”
“The main thing is that it should be a reinforcement. Our task is not just to find football players, but to find those who will strengthen us. We look at our players, we look at foreigners. 12-13 people cannot pull through the entire season. Especially considering that we always have maximum tasks.”
“We will have several players joining us soon. It is a complex process, but we are looking to strengthen each position.”
Zorya tied with Hungarian MTK (1:1) in the first friendly match at the training camp in Slovenia. Among others, the match featured Zorya’s summer newcomer, Slovenian defender Zhan Trontelj.
Let us recall that the Luhansk team came out of vacation in the last ten days of June and on the 25th went to Slovenia. In this country, Yuri Koval’s team has only 5-6 sparring matches planned.
Zorya plans to return from the Slovenian training camp approximately a week before the start of the new UPL season. The base day of the first round is August 3. In it, the Luhansk team will host Ingulets.
