Ukrainian rejects Trabzonspor offer
Ukrainian striker Roman Yaremchuk is included in the list of interests Bologna.
The Italian club has set Panathinaikos forward Fotis Ioannidis as its top target. However, many other clubs are interested in the Greek striker, and his price tag of 25 million euros is considered quite high. Bologna are also considering Chelsea’s Armando Broja and Ajax’s Georges Mikautadze as backup options.
Yaremchuk is an alternative if it is not possible to sign Ioannidis. It is reported that Roman has turned down Trabzonspor, which has already agreed on the Ukrainian’s transfer from Brugge.
Yaremchuk has a contract with Brugge until 2026. The Ukrainian spent the past season on loan at Valencia. Roman played 29 matches for the Spanish club, scoring four goals.
Bologna finished fifth in Serie A and qualified for the Champions League. The red-blues will start the new season of the Italian championship with a match against Udinese.
