Winger Dynamo Victor Tsygankov received damage in the pre-match warm-up before the first match of the third qualifying round of the Champions League against Sturm.
Tsygankov was supposed to be in the starting lineup of the Kyivans. From the first minutes in the duel with Sturm, Alexander Karavaev appeared instead of Viktor.
Last season, Tsygankov scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 25 Dynamo games in all competitions. Victor also took part in both games against Fenerbahce in the Champions League qualification (0:0, 2:1).
Recall that in June, Victor agreed with football agent Pere Guardiola on the employment of the winger in one of the top European championships this summer.
The second leg between Sturm and Dynamo will take place on Tuesday, August 9th. The winner of the confrontation will play with the winner of the Benfica-Mitjylland pair in the play-off round of the Champions League qualification.
