Children’s Clinical Hospital Suffered Serious Damage
Ukrainian Football Association announced the decision to transfer 5 million hryvnia to help the largest children’s clinical hospital Ukraine Okhmatdetwhich suffered today from a massive Russian missile attack.
The Okhmatdet hospital has 620 beds and treats about 20,000 children annually. The hospital footage from today’s missile attack has flown around the world.
Earlier, Ingulets President Alexander Povorotnyuk showed the consequences of a fire in a wheat field after a Russian missile attack. One of the missiles did not reach its target and fell far from the cities.
On Monday, July 8, Russian aggressors launched another massive missile strike on Ukraine. The missiles hit a children’s hospital and residential buildings in Kyiv, an enterprise in Krivoy Rog, residential buildings in Dnipro, Pokrovsk and other cities. Later, the Russians launched a repeat strike, which hit another hospital in Kyiv. The National Police reported that as of 15:48, 31 people were known to have died and 125 were injured.
Early in the morning of February 24, 2022, Russia launched a missile attack and aerial bombardment of most Ukrainian cities, and then launched a full-scale military invasion. The Russian war against Ukraine is now in its 865th day.
