Palmeiras presents pre-contract proposal to Gabigol

After long speculation, Palmeiras presented its first pre-contract proposal to Gabigol and awaits a response to count on the player in 2025

This Monday, the 8th, the Palm trees formalized the pre-contract proposal to count on the services of Gabigol. In the final stretch of the link with the Flamengothe striker can now sign with another club and received the first official offer from Verdão together with his agent, Junior Pedroso.

The São Paulo club is waiting for a response from Gabigol and his representative to find out whether they will be able to count on the player in January 2025. If Palmeiras wants the striker’s immediate arrival, an agreement regarding economic rights will be necessary with Flamengo, the team that currently holds his transfer rights.

Mengão, fearing the possibility of losing the idol and not earning a single cent in the transaction, would like to receive at least one player in exchange. In recent days, the possibility of Dudu go to Flamengo, but the situation of a possible exchange did not excite either party and the deal became unlikely to materialize.

Since the possibility of involving players in exchange for Gabigol has proven to be more difficult, Palmeiras has decided to make a pre-contract proposal for the player official. The information was given, first hand, by ‘TNT Sports’. Flamengo, in turn, does not intend to release the striker for any amount, who will even return to the squad for the match against Strength.

Behind the scenes of the negotiations, the Flamengo board is racing against time, but believes that Gabigol will not accept Palmeiras’ offer immediately. Since, until the end of his contract, he may receive other more advantageous offers, especially if it is an opportunity in foreign football.
