The 45-year-old specialist returned to the Odessa club
Chernomorets announced the appointment Alexandra Babich for the post of head coach.
The term of the agreement with the specialist is not disclosed. At the same time, the Odessa club informed that upon Babich’s arrival in Ukraine, he will be officially presented at the post, and the coach himself will give a comment to the club’s press service, where he will share his plans for the season.
Let us recall that Babich already worked with the first team of Chornomorets in the period 2014-2017, and his last Ukrainian club was Kryvbas, which he headed until June 2022.
Babich’s last job was with the Bulgarian club Pirin, which finished last season in second-to-last place, 15th, in the top division and was relegated.
Odessa Chornomorets finished 12th in the UPL last season and also made it to the semi-finals of the Ukrainian Cup. At the end of the season, several players left the club, as well as the head coach, Roman Grigorchuk.
