Argentinian striker Lionel Messi will be in the starting lineup of the national team Argentina for the America’s Cup semi-final match with Team Canada.
The match will start at 03:00 Moscow time. In the current Copa America, Messi has played three matches in which he has provided an assist.
Messi, 37, suffered a muscle injury in the 2nd round of the group stage match against Chile (1:0), after which he did not participate in the match against Peru (2:0). After the quarter-final against the Ecuador national team (1:1, 4:2 on penalties), Messi said that last week he tried to get rid of the pain and discomfort in his muscles.
