PSG paid Sporting 60 million euros for the Uruguayan last summer
Manchester United interested in transferring the midfielder PSG Manuel Ugarte.
Negotiations between the clubs regarding the transfer of the Uruguayan are already at an advanced stage. Earlier, it was also reported that Borussia Dortmund, Bayern and Atletico were showing interest in Ugarte.
The 23-year-old Uruguayan became a PSG player last summer, moving from Sporting. The Lisbon club received 60 million euros for his transfer.
In the 2023/24 season, the midfielder played 37 matches for PSG in all competitions, scoring three assists. Ugarte is currently playing with the Uruguayan national team at the 2024 Copa America – on the night of July 10-11, his team will play against Colombia in the semi-final match.
Manchester United finished eighth in the 2023/24 Premier League, but partly redeemed themselves for the unsuccessful season with a victory in the FA Cup against fellow countrymen from Man City, which gave ten Haan’s team a ticket to the Europa League. The new season of Manchester United will begin on August 10, when they will play the FA Community Shield against Manchester City.
