The player has experience playing for the Brazilian U-20 team
Winger Cruzeiro Stenio arrived in Lviv to the location Carpathians.
Stenio is 21 years old and spent his last season on loan in the Portuguese second division for AVS. The Brazilian helped his club reach the top division, and in total, he played 18 matches for AVS and scored 1 goal.
The winger also has experience playing for the Brazil U-20 team, for which he played 8 matches and scored 1 goal.
Stenio’s contract with Cruzeiro runs until the end of 2026. It is not yet known whether he will move to Lviv on loan or on a full-time basis.
This offseason, Karpaty have already announced the transfers of Minaj goalkeeper Alexander Kemkin, Bulgarian Cherno More midfielder Pablo Alvarez, and Chernomorets midfielder Orest Kuzyk. The Lviv club also signed three Dnipro-1 players — defenders Vladimir Adamyuk and Denis Miroshnichenko, as well as midfielder Maksym Melnichenko.
Karpaty have been promoted to a higher class following the results of last season and will play in the UPL. In the first round of the new Ukrainian championship, Myron Markevych’s team will meet Veres. The base date of the first round is August 3.
