Nadezhda and Timea Babos completely failed the second and third sets
Ukrainian tennis player Nadezhda Kichenok in a duet with a representative of Hungary Timea Babos lost in the doubles in the quarter finals Wimbledon 2024 from a couple Caroline Doelhyde/Desiree Krawczyk.
The match lasted 1 hour and 36 minutes. The first set was completely dominated by the Ukrainian pair – during it Nadezhda and Timea made two breaks, which helped them celebrate the final victory with a score of 6:1.
However, this is where the good events on the court ended for all the fans of the Ukrainian. N. Kichenok and Babos lost the second set 2:6, but the decisive third set turned out to be even more of a failure – Doulgaid and Kravchik hung a “donut” on the Ukrainian pair and, winning with a score of 6:0, put an end to the match.
Nadiya Kichenok reached the quarterfinals in doubles at a Grand Slam tournament for the second time in her career. The Ukrainian achieved her first such achievement in May at Roland Garros, when she played in pairs with Japanese Miyu Kato.
