The teams exchanged goals before the break
Carpathians played their fourth friendly match at the pre-season training camp – the team Myron Markevich drew against the first league Agribusiness (1:1).
The Lviv team took the lead in the 24th minute – Artur Shah made a great shot at Agrobiznes’ goal from a long distance.
Agrobiznes’ response was not long in coming – in the 30th minute Ivan Gavrushko made a pass to the far post, and Daniil Volkov easily sent the ball into the net of Alexander Ilyushchenkov.
It should be noted that in the middle of the second half, Brazilian winger Stenio, whose transfer from Cruzeiro was announced today, came on as a substitute for Karpaty.
Earlier, Karpaty beat Minaj (3:1) in a friendly match and suffered a defeat from Metalist 1925 (0:1), and played a draw with Prykarpattya (1:1).
Karpaty have been promoted to a higher class following the results of last season and will play in the UPL. In the first round of the new Ukrainian championship, Myron Markevych’s team will meet Veres. The base date of the first round is August 3.
