Athletistic / Football. Spartak Moscow general director Oleg Malyshev responded to reports of a possible transfer of red-and-white striker Alexander Sobolev to Zenit. Earlier, Russian media reported that negotiations were in their final stages.
“I have no news for you from Sobolev. Today, Alexander is a football player of Spartak. We have no offers from Zenit,” Malyshev is quoted as saying.
Zenit is alleged to have offered 12 million euros for Alexander’s contract with Spartak until June 30, 2026. In the 2023/2024 season, the 27-year-old Russian made 34 appearances for the red and whites in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and contributing nine assists. Transfermarkt portal estimates Sobolev’s market value at 8 million euros.
