Head coach of the national team UNITED STATES Gregg Berhalter relieved of his duties, reports the press service of the United States National Soccer Federation (USMNT).
The team failed to advance from the group with Uruguay, Panama and Bolivia at the 2024 Copa America at home. The American team earned three points and became third in Quartet C.
“I want to thank Gregg for his hard work and dedication to the game of soccer and our men’s national team.” “We are now focused on working with our sporting director, Matt Crocker, to find the right person to lead the USMNT into a new era of success on the field,” said Federation President Cindy Parlow Cone.
Berkhalter, 50, worked with the team from 2018 to 2022, then returned to the national team in the summer of 2023.
