Ear officially announced the signing of a contract with the midfielder Nika Gagnidze from Georgian DialsThe 23-year-old player will wear number 20 at his new club.
Gagnidze played for Dila Gori his entire career, with a short break for Turkish Umraniyespor (loan in the first half of the 2022/23 season). In total, he played 122 matches for the Georgian club, scored 20 goals, and made 12 assists. This season, Nika has played 15 matches, scored two goals and made six assists.
Last summer, we recall, Dila sensationally beat Vorskla in the Conference League qualification (1:2, 3:1). Gagnidze did not play in those matches due to injuries. But the heroes of the confrontation were the Ukrainians – goalkeeper Yevgeny Kucherenko (now LNZ) and forward Nikolay Kovtalyuk, who later moved to the same Vorskla.
Let us recall that earlier the club from Kovalivka signed another central midfielder – former Ukrainian national team player Igor Kharatin.
Dila leads the 2024 Erovnuli League, four points ahead of Torpedo (Kutaisi) after 18 rounds. Kolos took 11th place in the 2023/24 Ukrainian Championship. In the first round of the new UPL season, Oleksandr Pozdeyev’s charges will play against Obolon, the base date is August 3.
