Matches involving Dynamo, Shakhtar and Poliesie have been postponed to a later date
Ukrainian Premier League approved the dates and start times of the matches of the opening round of the season 2023/25.
The new championship will start on Saturday, August 3, with a meeting in Rivne between Veres And Carpathians. Later that day, the UPL bronze medalist Krivbass will accept Chernomorets.
It should be noted that only five of the eight matches will take place on the first weekend of August. Three more (Vorskla vs. Shakhtar, Oleksandria vs. Dynamo, Rukh vs. Poliesie) have been postponed to a later date due to the call-up of players from the aforementioned clubs to the Ukrainian Olympic team.

Let us recall that the Ukrainian Olympic team has already left for France. On July 14, Ruslan Rotan’s team will play the Egyptian Olympic team, and on the 18th, they will face their peers from Paraguay. Both sparring matches will begin at 19:30 Kyiv time.
The Ukrainian national team will play at the 2024 Olympics with Argentina, Morocco and Iraq. In the first round, Rotan’s team will meet the Asian team on July 24.
The Olympic team’s application included 22 players, including five representatives of Shakhtar, three each from Dynamo, Rukh and Oleksandriya, as well as two players from Vorskla.
