Dynamo officially announced the departure of the defender Alexandra Sirota for a year’s rent in Maccabi (Haifa).
The clubs have agreed on all the terms of the agreement, which runs until the summer of 2025. Maccabi will have priority rights to buy out the 24-year-old player.
Sirota was born in Kyiv and spent his entire career in the Dynamo structure. He has been playing for the first team since 2020 – 85 matches, two goals, two assists.
In the 2023/24 season, Alexander was not a stable player in the main team, playing 20 matches in all tournaments, notching one assist and one red card.
Dynamo finished second in the UPL in the 2023/24 season. Oleksandr Shovkovskiy’s team will play against Serbian Partizan in the second round of the Champions League qualification.
Maccabi Haifa became the vice-champion of Israel. Barak Bahar’s team will begin their European Cup journey in the new season on July 25 in the Conference League qualification against Azerbaijan’s Sabah.
