Athletistic / Football. Former Dutch midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has criticised the performance of the England national team in the Euro 2024 semi-finals in Germany. The match took place on July 10 in Dortmund and ended with the founders of football winning 2:1.
“I’m nervous at the moment because of these English players. What a dirty (ruder word used in the original.) Note Athletistic) team! It’s slow, barely moving. The Englishmen’s eyes didn’t shine at all. Holland didn’t do much either, but fortunately we at least had some dangerous moments. “I may be overwhelmed with emotion, but we could have done more,” van der Vaart was quoted as saying by Voetbalprimeur.
Rafael Van de Vaart played for the Netherlands national team from 2001 to 2013. Wearing an orange T-shirt, he made 109 appearances and scored 25 goals. In 2010, he helped the Dutch reach the final of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
England will face Spain in the Euro 2024 final on July 14.
