Miner lost to a Serbian club in a friendly match Backa-Topola at the training camp in Slovenia – 0:1.
The Serbs managed to open the scoring in the fourth minute of the match. Midfielder Milos Vulic took advantage of a mistake by goalkeeper Dmitry Riznyk and the Miners’ defenders and scored a goal.
During the training camp in Slovenia, Shakhtar has already played two friendly matches: they won a crushing victory over Bosnian Sarajevo (4:1) and drew with Croatian Hajduk (1:1).
The miners are holding their first summer training camp at the Slovenian national team training base in Brdo. The training will continue until July 28.
Marino Pusic’s team starts the new UPL season with a match against Poliesie in the second round. The match against Vorskla in the first round has been postponed to a later date due to the players of both teams being called up to the Ukrainian Olympic team.
