Glyvinsky left the post of press secretary of the Ukrainian national team

The renowned journalist worked for the national team for 14 years

Press Secretary of the National Ukrainian national team Alexander Glyvinsky announced that he was leaving his post.

“With this post I want to inform you that my 14-year period of work as the press secretary of the national team of Ukraine has ended. It was an interesting and long journey in the boat of the favorite team of all Ukrainians – the National Team of Ukraine. Being a member of the Ukrainian National Team is a great honor and at the same time a responsibility, so every day in this position, even if something did not work out, is a great and valuable asset for my life experience.”

Glyvinsky joined the Ukrainian national team in 2010 at the invitation of the then coach of the blue-yellows Myron Markevich. The famous journalist worked on 142 matches of the national team. The full text of Glyvinsky’s farewell message can be found here check out his Facebook page.

Earlier, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association took place. The Executive Committee expressed full support to the head coach of the national team, Serhiy Rebrov, and his coaching staff.

The Ukrainian national team will play in Group B1 of the 2024/2025 Nations League with the national teams of Albania, the Czech Republic and Georgia. The Ukrainian team will play all six matches in this quartet during the autumn of 2024.
