Athletistic / Football. England manager Gareth Southgate has spoken about the Spanish team ahead of their Euro 2024 final clash. According to the Three Lions manager, the Spanish are the best team at the tournament in Germany.
“The only reason I took the job in England was to try and bring success to the English nation and improve their football and that was to get this team to the final, which I’m very proud of.
“We came to Euro 2024 to win! In the final we will face the best team in the tournament and we have one day less to prepare for the decisive match. So we have a tough task ahead of us, but we are still here and we are fighting,” Southgate was quoted as saying by FromTheSpot.
The Euro 2024 final between Spain and England will take place on July 14 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. The starting whistle will sound at 22:00 Moscow time. It is worth noting that the Spanish are three-time European champions, and the British have never won a continental championship.
