NBA signs record-breaking national TV deal

The deal cost $76 billion for 11 seasons.

NBA announced the conclusion of a record contracts about showing League matches on national television.

The matches will be broadcast on TV channels ABC/ESPN, NBC And Amazon seven days a week. The total value of the contracts will be 76 billion dollars on 11 seasons.

NBA media partner TNT Sports failed to reach a new deal with the league during a round of negotiations. TNT has the right to match ABC/ESPN, NBC and Amazon’s offer to show games, but that’s unlikely to happen.

Last season, Boston won the long-awaited championship – the Celtics’ first triumph since 2008. In the final series, Boston defeated Dallas in five games (4:1).

Svyatoslav Mykhailiuk played for the Celtics last season and became the second Ukrainian in history to win the NBA championship title.
