The Spaniard won a strong-willed victory over the “neutral” Daniil Medvedev
Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz reached the men’s singles final Wimbledon 2024.
The third seed faced “neutral” athlete Daniil Medvedev. The four-set match lasted almost three hours.
In the first set, Alcaraz twice recovered from a broken serve, but lost in the tie-break. The Spaniard won the next two sets, managing to get one break in each. In the fourth set, Carlos took two of his opponent’s serves, giving up one of his own.
Alcaraz is last year’s Wimbledon champion. In the tournament final, the Spaniard will face the winner of the match between Lorenzo Musetti (Italy) and Novak Djokovic (Serbia).
