Volokhaty scored twice for the team from Petrovo, and Kozyrenko scored another goal
Ingulets won a victory over Poltava in a high-scoring friendly match – 3:2.
In the first half, the hosts’ midfielder Roman Volokhaty scored a double. After the break, Yuri Kozyrenko brought the score up to a large one, but the Poltava team managed to revive the intrigue and almost made a comeback, scoring twice in the remaining time.
Ingulets became the champion of the First League last season and received a ticket to the UPL. In the off-season, Vasily Kobin took over the leadership of the club from Petrovo instead of Vladislav Lupashko.
In previous sparring matches of this off-season, Kobin’s team lost to Kryvbas (1:3) and Dynamo (0:4), and also celebrated a victory over Chornomorets (2:1).
In the opening round of the new UPL draw, Ingulets will play away against Zorya. The match will take place on Sunday, August 4, kick-off at 18:00.
