UEFA to split Golden Boot trophy if teams tied after Euro 2024 final

Harry Kane and Dani Olmo are the main contenders for the prize

UEFA will share the trophy “Golden Boot” in case of equality of players’ scores after the final Euro 2024.

There is currently no clear leader in the list of scorers. Six players have three goals each: Jamal Musiala (Germany), Cody Gakpo (Netherlands), Georges Mikautadze (Georgia), Ivan Schranz (Slovakia), as well as two tournament finalists – Harry Kane (England) and Dani Olmo (Spain).

England’s Jude Bellingham and Spain’s Fabian Ruiz, who have scored two goals each, could be closing in on their opponents in the fight for the title of top scorer at the Euro.

It is worth noting that three goals is the lowest goal-scorer’s tally at the Euro since 2012, when the trophy was won by Spaniard Fernando Torres based on additional indicators.

The final of the 2024 European Championship between Spain and England will take place on July 14 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. The starting whistle of the Frenchman Francois Letexier will sound at 22:00 Kyiv time. The commentators of the match on the MEGOGO media service will be Vadim Skichko and Sergey Lukyanenko.
