Besiktas announce talks with Immobile

Ciro has already said goodbye to Lazio fans

Besiktas announced the start of negotiations with the forward Lazio Ciro Immobile.

It was reported that the player was offered a two-year contract. Ciro himself has already said goodbye to the Eagles fans.

Ciro has played for the Romans since 2016, scoring 207 goals and making 54 assists in 340 games. With Lazio, the striker won the Italian Cup and two Italian Super Cups. Immobile is the top scorer in Lazio history.

His career also included a number of other Italian clubs, including Juventus, Genoa and Torino, as well as Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla. Immobile played 57 games for the Italian national team, scoring 17 goals. He won the 2020 European Championship title.

During this transfer window, the Turkish club strengthened its ranks with former Arsenal defender Gabriel Paulista and Benfica striker Rafa Silva. Besiktas invited Dutch specialist Giovanni van Bronckhorst to the post of head coach.

Besiktas finished only sixth in the last Turkish championship. However, the Istanbul club won the national cup, which allowed it to qualify for the Europa League for next season.
