The 24-year-old goalkeeper helped the team reach the UPL
As became known Sport ArenaLviv goalkeeper Carpathians Andrey Kozhukhar was shortlisted by several Polish clubs.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper’s current agreement with Karpaty runs until June 2026. Last season, Kozhukhar played 28 games for the Lviv club, conceding 20 goals. The goalkeeper kept a clean sheet in 16 games.
This off-season, Karpaty have already announced the transfers of Minaj goalkeeper Aleksandr Kemkin, Bulgarian Cherno More midfielder Pablo Alvarez, and Chernomorets midfielder Orest Kuzyk.
The Lviv club also signed three Dnipro-1 players: defenders Volodymyr Adamyuk and Denis Miroshnichenko, as well as midfielder Maksym Melnichenko. Another completed transfer was the transfer of Cruzeiro winger Stenio.
Karpaty have advanced in class following the results of the last season and will play in the UPL. In the first round of the new Ukrainian championship, Myron Markevych’s team will meet Veres on August 3. The match starts at 15:30.
