The Ukrainian’s release clause in Girona is 30 million euros
Manchester United And Aston Villa are showing interest in the transfer of the midfielder Girona by Victor Tsygankov.
Both English clubs have already contacted Tsygankov’s agents about a transfer for the player. It is reported that Manchester United and Aston Villa have already begun to draw up plans to convince the Ukrainian to join them this off-season. At the same time, Victor’s contract with Girona includes a release clause of 30 million euros.
Tsygankov himself gave his word to the Girona management that he would begin pre-season training with the team. It was previously reported that Victor was inclined to stay with Girona next season. The Spanish club also expressed interest in extending Victor’s contract, which expires in 2027.
Last season, Tsygankov played 34 matches for Girona, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists. His teammate and compatriot Artem Dovbyk became the top scorer in Primera with 24 goals. Girona took third place in Primera and will play in the Champions League for the first time in history.
Manchester United will play in the Europa League next season, while Aston Villa have secured a spot in the Champions League. Erik ten Haan’s side will kick off the season on August 10 with a Community Shield match against Manchester City, while Unai Emery’s side will kick off the season on August 17 with an away match against West Ham in the first round of the Premier League.
