Slovenian signs two-year contract with Vorskla
Vorskla announced the transfer of the former defender Chernomorets Luka Guchek.
The Slovenian signed a two-year contract with Vorskla. The player will play for Poltava under number 25.
Guchek has played for Chornomorets since 2023. Last season, the 25-year-old defender played 22 matches for the Odessans in the UPL.
This off-season, Poltava has already managed to extend the contract with the team’s main goalkeeper Pavlo Isenko, extended the loan of defender Viktor Kornienko from Shakhtar, and also signed the best player of the Montenegrin championship of the 2023/24 season, forward Demir Shkriel. Vorskla’s latest newcomer was former Poliesie forward Denis Ndukwe.
Vorskla finished 9th in the last UPL draw. Serhiy Dolganskyy’s team will start the new UPL season with a match against Dnipro-1 in the second round. The match against Shakhtar in the first round has been postponed to a later date due to the call-up of players from both teams to the Ukrainian Olympic team.
