Captain of Brazil’s fourth World Cup title, Dunga suffered an accident on a road in Curitiba and was taken to hospital
Former player and coach of Brazilian Team, Dungasuffered a car accident this Saturday, the 13th, in Curitiba. The incident took place around 12:30 pm (Brasília time) on BR-116, in the metropolitan region of the capital of Paraná. He and his wife were in the car, which overturned, but suffered only minor injuries, according to the Federal Highway Police.
The victims were taken to the nearest hospital, Angelina Caron, and Campina Grande do Sul, for treatment. At the time, Dunga was also given a breathalyzer test, but the result was negative, ruling out any possibility of drunk driving.

At 60 years old, Dunga had an iconic career in Brazilian football, having captained Brazil to the 1994 World Cup title. In addition, he also led the Brazilian national team on two occasions, losing in the quarterfinals of the 2010 World Cup against the Netherlands, and being fired after being eliminated in the group stage of the 2016 Copa América.
