Obolon in a spectacular pre-season sparring match suffered a defeat from Epicenter — 2:4.
The match took place in Bucha at the Kiev training base. In the first half, the opponents staged a goal extravaganza, scoring six goals between them.
By the sixth minute, the First League representative was leading by two goals. By the end of the half hour, the Brewers had recouped thanks to the efforts of Rostislav Taranukha and Vasily Kurko. However, before the break, Valeriy Ivaschenko’s team managed to concede twice more. Forward Daniil Kravchuk scored a double.
In the second half, no one managed to score, the score remained unchanged. The defeat was the second in a row for Obolon – let us recall that earlier the Brewers lost to LNZ in Cherkassy (0:2).
The official 2024/25 season for Ivaschenko’s team starts on Sunday, August 4. On this day, Obolon will play Kolos at home in the first round of the UPL.
