Athletistic / Football. Former Real Madrid midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has assessed England midfielder Jude Bellingham’s performance at Euro 2024. At club level, the Englishman has been playing for Real Madrid since the summer of 2023.
“Bellingham doesn’t have the right touch on the ball. Jude is a strong player who can work consistently on the pitch for 90 minutes. But I would say with a ten on his back, he is not a ten at the moment,” Van der Vaart was quoted as saying by NOS.
On 14 July at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, England failed to become European champions for the first time in their history. Gareth Southgate’s men lost to Spain with a score of 1:2.
