England have never won the European Championship, winning two silver medals. It is worth noting that both of England’s appearances in the final have come at the last two European Championships.
The Spanish national team has won the European Championship for the fourth time, which has become a new record. Previously, the “Red Fury” had won the continental championships at tournaments in Spain in 1964, Austria/Switzerland in 2008 and Ukraine/Poland in 2012.
